Today recipe is tasty Double dacker paratha. Paratha is very popular as a breakfast, meal specially in north India. Generally we know that double dacker paratha where two different filling used to create two layered paratha, but my experiment is quite different where I used one filling and two layered paratha. This recipe is easy, simple and takes less time. This parathas make healthy and wholesome breakfast. It is perfect for lunch box also. Hope you enjoy these parathas.
Ingredients:
● ½ cup masoor dal ● 3 cup flower ● 1 large onion chopped ● 3 to 4 green chilies chopped ● ½ tsp ginger pest ●1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped ● 2 tsp mix achar ●1 pinch of asafoetida ● ½ tsp turmeric pd ● Refined oil ● Salt to taste ● Sugar to taste
Procedure:
Step 1: Wash the daal & soak for 1/2 hour. Step 2: In a pot combine daal,water, turmeric pd, & salt..
Step 4: Take a pan and hit some oil.
Step 5: Add onion and green chili fry few min when the onion colors come nice golden.
Step 6: Add coriander leaves and ginger pest cook few sec.
Step 7: Add masoor daal, achar, some salt, sugar and pinch of asafoetida and mix well.
Step 8: Remove from heat & allow to cool.
Step 9: Make a soft dough with flour, oil, sugar, salt & warm water.
Step 10: Divide the dough into some equal Roll and make some little paratha.
Step 11: Put some mixture in the middle of the round and place another paratha on the work top. Now press all the sides with your figure to ensure that the edges are well sealed.
Step 12: Heat sufficient oil in a flat pan and fry until both sides.
Enjoy with achar.
