Spicy Daliya

Daliya is simplest and healthy food. It’s growing up kids or people recovering from illness. It is an excellent source of fiber and is also low in fat. Generally daliya used as a simple food but today, I tried to make it bit spicy and non- veg. I have added fish to make it more healthy and delicious which can be eaten as whole meal.

Time required: Less than 40 minutes.

Ingredients:
● 
1 cup Dalya ● 3 pieces katla fish ● 2 onion (chopped) ● 4 to 5 green chilli (chopped) ● 2 tbsp lemon juice ● 1 tsp ginger pest ● 1 tsp garlic pest ● 1 tsp red chilli pd ● 1 tsp Cumin seeds pd ● 1tsp red chilli pd ● 1 tsp fennel seeds (pest) ● ½ tsp cardamom pd ● 1 tbsp kaju (cashew) (chopped) ● 1 tbsp kaju (cashew) (pest) ● 1 tbsp (table spoons) soya sauce ● 1 tbsp vinegar ● 12 to 15 raisins ● Sugar (to taste) ● Salt (to taste) ● Refined oil

Procedure:

Step 1: Roast the daliya in a pan.

Step 2: Take a pressure cooker add roasted daliya, water & some salt. 

Step 3: Close the lid of cooker and let 3 to 4 whistles come.

Step 4: After 4 whistles open the cooker lid.

Step 5: Take a cooked fish, remove the outer skin, bones and shred the fish into thin strips. 

Step 6: Hit some oil in a pan add onion& green chilli, cooked on medium heat till the onions golden brown.

Step 7: Add ginger pest, garlic pest, fennel seeds pest & cumin seeds pd fry few min.

Step 8: Add fish strips cook for few min.

Step 9: Add kaju pest and mix very well, then add soya sauce, vinegar, salt & little bit of water.

Step 10: Mix the daliya into the pan add raisins  & cardamom pd.

Garnish daliya with coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon juice.
