Orange Rice

Oranges are one of the most popular fruits around the world. It’s delightful as a snack or used as a recipe ingredient. You may already know that oranges are an excellent source of vitamin C, just one orange supply 116.2% of the daily value for vitamin C. It helps to prevent Ulcers and reduce risk for Stomach Cancer. So, you can understand how much it’s valuable in our life. Today I used “Orange” as our main ingredient. “Orange Rice” something special with this delightful winter recipe, to really bring out the orange flavor. It’s very simple recipe and easy to cook. Let me tell you how you can do it so quickly.

Time required: Less than 15 minutes.

Ingredients:
● 
4 cup cooked rice ● 12 to 15 orange slice (cubes) ● 2 tbsp jaggery (gur) (liqued) ● 2 onions (chopped)
● 5 to 6 green chilies (chopped) ● 1 tsp ginger pest ● 8 to 10 kaju (cashew) (chopped) ● ½ tsp cardamom pd ● Butter ● Salt (to taste)   

Procedure:

Step 1: Heat some butter in a pan Add onion, kaju and green chilies, cooked on medium heat till the onions colour comes golden brown.

Step 2: Add ginger and orange fry few sec. Then add gur mix together.

Step 3: Add the rice, salt and cardamom pd mix well. 

Garnish "Orange Rice" with orange cubes and serve hot.
